Bhajan singer Narendra Chanchal dies; Prime Minister Modi paid tribute
New Delhi: Leading bhajan singer Narendra Chanchal passed away on Friday, January 22, 2021. He is 80 years old.
A Bhajan veteran with some health issues breathed his last at 12:15 pm at Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in New Delhi.
The Bhajan singer was admitted to a hospital in south Delhi on November 27 and died of brain problems, the news agency quoted PTI sources as saying.
After calling Prime Minister Narendra Modi a jerk, he started paying homage to Twitter by “earning a special place in the world of bhajan singers through his voice”.

Born in Amritsar in 1940, Narendra Chanchal is definitely the first name that comes to mind when thinking about mother awakening. His distinctive voice brought him considerable fame.
Chanchal was acclaimed not only in religious music but also in Bollywood. He won the Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer for ‘Bollywood Course’ in the 1973 film ‘Bobby’.
