Uttar Pradesh has extended the ongoing lockdown until May 31 to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease (Kovid-19) and has issued new guidelines for lockdown 4.0.

What is allowed during Lockdown 4.0?

* The state government has allowed Sabzi Mandis (Sabzi Mandis) to reopen with proper precautions from 4 am to 7 am for three hours. Retail vegetables can be sold between 6 and 9 p.m.

* The ban will continue at night in the state and no vehicle will be allowed between 7am and 7pm except for essential services.

* Private vehicles are also permitted with certain restrictions. Three passengers, including the driver, can travel in a four-wheeler, rear-wheel drive on two-wheelers is allowed only in the case of a woman, and three people, including the driver on a three-wheeler, are allowed.

Metro services will be suspended during the fourth phase of the lockdown.

* Hospitality services will be closed except for Kovid-19 frontline workers.

Cinema halls, malls and gyms will not be open during Lockdown 4.0
