Drug lords Dr. Reddy’s on May 14 say they plan to vaccinate 125 million people in 8 to 12 months with the Sputnik vaccine. The company is negotiating with at least two provinces.
“We have the cost of supplying 36 million units from RDIF in the next two months,” said M V Ramana, Deputy Executive Vice President and Head of Branded Formulations at Dr Reddy’s.
Dr Reddy’s Laboratories said imported doses of the Russian vaccine Sputnik V COVID-19 were sold at Rs 948 + 5% GST (Rs 995.40) per dose.
The company said the price would remain the same for the government and private channels.
The company said it would work with hospitals on 18-degree Centigrade. The company is preparing to operate in 35 cities.
Dr. Reddy according to his license agreement can also produce up to 250 million doses of the Sputnik V vaccine, the agreement allows for increased volume in harmony.
