What is the kindest thing an animal has done for you?

This is Minnu. I was broke, bought her cat food with my last few rands and it was 2 days from getting paid. There was no food in the house. I went to bed hungry and the next morning I made her breakfast and the beautiful creature looked at me, turned and went out the window. I thought that the cat had left me too, and then I heard a muffled Rowl. 

The sound I know, she jumped out the window with the pigeon she had just caught and threw it at my feet. She looked at me, widened her eyes and cleared her throat. It was like she knew I was hungry so she went and grabbed me something to eat.
