Sunny did not know he would lose his wife if he went to find work. Just like the millions of people who were running away did not know that they were going to earn bread, but one day they would be killed.

Reena was 25 years old. Sunny is her husband. She lived with her husband in Faridkot, Punjab. Sunny does wages. Both were from Bihar. Have two daughters. One is three years old and one is seven months old. The work was stopped with lockdown applied. Financial condition became very bad. Eating and drinking became difficult. Both were quite upset. Today Sunny went out to find work from home. Reena committed suicide by hanging from a fan in the house.
Madhusudan Mishra also committed suicide. Madhusudan used to work in Gurugram. He was a resident of Khurda in Odisha. Used to live in a rented house. Could not pay rent. The landlord was troubling. Neighbors have told that the landlord was often quarreling for not paying rent.

Virendra Das of Palamu in Jharkhand used to work at a sweet shop in Jalandhar. The wife used to sweep in Modi Nagar. Both reached Palamu on 6 May. Virendra was home-quarantined. It is being told that Virendra was under stress due to being alone. He committed suicide by hanging himself on Monday. Virendra’s corona test came negative, but he was quarantined for 14 days.
