The United Nations Human Rights Council (UNHRC) has approached the Supreme Court of India against the Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that ‘this is an internal matter of India’. No foreign party has the right to go to court on issues of Indian sovereignty. ‘
Foreign Ministry spokesman Ravish Kumar (Ravish Kumar) said, “Our permanent mission in Geneva, UNHRC High Commissioner yesterday evening filed a petition in the Supreme Court of India regarding his 2019 citizenship.” Amendment Act (CAA). The intervention application was filed. ‘

Kumar said that the Citizenship Amendment Act is an internal matter of India and is the sovereign right of the Indian Parliament to make laws. We firmly believe that no foreign power has control over issues relating to Indian sovereignty.
