The Spurs escaped with a victory on Saturday against the Rocks, as DeMar DeRozan took the opportunity to defend himself in a fierce defense in Houston to end the game with a free throw. Tonight, Silver and Black face Steph Curry and the revitalized Warriors, who split the Mavericks a few days ago, but probably should have won both. The Warriors put the injured side 121-99 at Spurs when they met, and their level of play without Klay Thompson has just improved since then. Super rookie James Wiseman will be out tonight,

so the only downside to their weakness is the lack of defensive end, DeMar DeRozan and Dejounte Murray should be able to take advantage of it. Dejounte and Derrick White will be tasked with keeping Curry unbeaten to defend three points for Spurs, who were less than this season. Spurs will play the Warriors again tomorrow night, and will be on their way to their annual tour of Rodeo Road, so it’s important that the good guys play well to keep San Antonio a final mix in the unforgiving Western NBA conference.

The ball is launched immediately, whenever it is in the hands of Stephen Curry. The rock is moving very fast, the movement is almost fading, our best hope of slowing it down is Dejounte Murray’s speed. But of course as Coyote is hairy, Spurs have got this, so there is no need to worry.
