CEASEFIRE: After more than two weeks of relentless nightly U.S. strikes on Iranian targets, the skies went quiet on the night of July 25 – and the silence is speaking volumes. Neither CENTCOM nor Iranian media – nor outlets in neighboring countries such as Bahrain, Jordan, and Kuwait – have reported any overnight strikes or Iranian missile and drone attacks.
No official explanation has been given yet. The most plausible reading is that some form of ceasefire has been negotiated. That does not mean the conflict is over – previous pauses have collapsed – but it does point to a short-term agreement now being tested. U.S. Navy Warships and Aircraft Transit Arabian Sea.
