If I am fully vaccinated, do I still need to sanitize groceries and mail before bringing them inside my house?

I cannot tell you what to do, only tell you I have chosen to do.

I was vaccinated. My chance of catching covid is 95% less than that of unvaccinated people. Now, please note that not every unvaccinated person who walks out the door is going to catch covid. If their chance of catching the disease is only 1%, mine is 95% less than that. A little worse for a few particular strains, but it still ameliorates symptoms.

If I catch it, I am not going to die. The odds that I will get seriously sick are infinitesimal. Driving a car is more likely to get me killed, and I drive without hesitation.

Add to that the fact that there is no evidence anyone has caught covid from handling objects like mail and groceries, and you are pretty close to 0% on your question.

I am living a normal life. I will respect mask mandates and distancing because this virus is still out there, and i don’t want to help spread it to other people, but as far as I am concerned, I now feel confident I can survive this thing. I do not sterilize groceries, or change my clothing when i come home from shopping, or any other extreme precautions. Last week I went out with family members (also vaccinated) to a restaurant. It was awesome.
